From Pain to Possibility: Six Divorce Lessons That Changed My Life (I Even Scaled a Via Ferrata!)
💔 ➡️ 💪 My divorce was one of the hardest thing I’ve ever faced, but it also led me to a life I never imagined. 🌟
If you’re struggling through a divorce, know this: you are stronger than you think, and there’s hope on the other side.
In this post, I share 6 powerful lessons that helped me heal, grow, and even find the courage to conquer a via ferrata.
I hope these lessons will help you, too. 💝 💪

Do you have a tough question? Ask away. I’ll find the right experts to weigh in and make sure you’re getting the input you need. |
Question:
My 7 and 10 year-old children are acting out since the divorce, and I’m worried about their emotional health. How can I support them through this transition?
Answer:
The best way to support your kids during divorce (or any other significant transition for that matter) is to listen to their concerns. Let them know they are heard and can ask you questions.
This will reinforce several valuable lessons:
– They can always come to you to talk about whatever is on their mind (even if they don’t love the answers!).
– Their feelings matter! You’ll make time to hear them and answer them.
– The adults are providing a safe place to share.
– The divorce is not their fault. Even if they don’t come out and ask it, especially at that age, they are probably wondering about it.
Do your best to maintain consistent routines, and keep communication open with teachers, parents of their friends, and other caregivers to monitor their well-being across environments. And finally, consider family or individual therapy as additional support.
💪 💝
Here I’ll share some of the books, websites, podcasts and experts to help make your journey a little less shitty!
